I would like to thank the Scientex Conferences organization for giving me the opportunity to present, in a high-level international context, the latest developments in my studies on human brain volumetry in an invited talk. Unfortunately, mainstream science has raised insurmountable barriers for those like me who don't work within a university and have no funds available to dedicate to their scientific research other than their own! Alternative information and dissemination channels are, therefore, welcome. Among these, Scientex Conferences. I can attest to the high quality of the scientific presentations, which often reveal a healthy desire to communicate one's work with dedication. This is something that always strikes me. As if it had become difficult for many to do so in other venues, a bit like what happened to me! Finally, I would like to emphasize the holistic nature of some presentations and, also, of my theoretical model, which ties in well with the Scientex motto, "Where Holistic Knowledge Blooms." A holistic approach that was unexpected for me, but ultimately welcomed! Sometimes paths cross. I hope so! Even for the future!
